This is the third painting in my Lilith Fair series, inspired by Paula Cole's iconic song and the generation of women who grew up carrying more than their share. We were raised on mixtapes, late-night radio, and songs that asked the questions nobody else was asking. Looking back, maybe the answer wasn't finding the cowboy at all.
Maybe it was realizing we could save ourselves.
